This being the case, Telesis revision 5 system (with Xymphony revision 091231 or an older one) owners may upgrade Xymphony in their system in order to use XTools Utility. However, CMDR database structure has been changed in Xymphony version 100115. Consequently, before upgrade of Xymphony, Telesis system owners must first download CMDR data from their systems with using XPort Utility. BE AWARE THAT UPGRADING XYMPHONY WITHOUT FIRST DOWNLOADING CMDR DATA FROM TELESIS SYSTEM WILL CAUSE ALL DATA TO BE LOST IN CMDR BUFFERS OF THE TELESIS SYSTEM. If XTools Utility finds an xman.mdb database file in its folder, its asks to convert this database file to xtools.mdb. After confirmation, conversion is done, besides old xman.mdb file is renamed to XmanImp.mdb automatically. After all, XTools Utility may start to use the converted database file. Version 1.06: - New version presents unique ID numbers of the discovered Telesis systems in a network. Version 1.04: - Starting XTools with command line parameter of -D automatically starts Xymphony discoverer like `xtools.exe -D` - If the TCP socket for CMDR download is somehow closed, XTools retries to recover the socket in every 5 minutes and if it succeeds, CMDR download is countinued automatically. Version 1.03: - XTools version 1.03 or later should be used for Telesis systems having Xymphony version 100201 or later. Version 1.02: - A new feature detaling user counters such that; - Counter (that is the total counter for all calls) - No star (that is the counter for calls without star stamp) - 1 star (that is the counter for calls with 1 star stamp) - 2 star (that is the counter for calls with 2 star stamp) - 3 star (that is the counter for calls with 3 star stamp) - Services (that is the counter for service calls) - In `User charge pulse counters` window, right mouse click over a marked record has an new option `List of counters`. Selecting `List of counters` displays the counter details (as mentioned above) for users. Version 1.01: - A minor modification in sliding download charts of `Monitor`, `CMDR Collect`, and `Voice Recording Collect` functions. Version 1.00: - First release. - Replacement for XPort Utility. - XTools Utility operates with Telesis revision 5 systems with Xymphony 100115 or later. - XTools Utility - Manual is available at the Tehcnical Documentation section. Possible parameters are: -`xphone.exe I Xymphony IP address or URL` -`xphone.exe C Xymphony account` -`xphone.exe U Xymphony authentication id` -`xphone.exe P password` ++++ End of XPhone (PC edition) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ++++ XPhone (Pocket PC edition) ++++ End of XPhone (Pocket PC edition) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ++++ XPhone (Smartphone edition) ++++ End of XPhone (Smartphone edition) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ++++ XymphonyUMS and XymphonyX General Note: If the upgrade has to be done within a LAN (local area network) and if uploading the new firmware becomes difficult in normal operation mode then starting the PX24 system in service mode may be preferred. The service button is on the control and switching board of the system. To activate the service mode, the system is powered up with the service button pressed hold. Be aware that the service button must be hold pressed until the status led, which is also on the control and switching board, blinks fast. When the status led blinks fast, the service button is released. The IP address of the system in service mode is the factory default address, which is 10.0.0.12 and the port address is 80. The web server of the system waits for a web browser connection within 2 minutes in service mode. If there will be no connection in this period, the system starts up in normal operation mode. So that, connect to the system within 2 minutes with using a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) to access Home Page of the service mode. There is no login name or password for the service mode web browser connection. Do not restart the system in service mode unless it is necessary. Version 100302: - Some improvements for webphone calls. Version 100218: - For the webphone service, Users pages (page 4-7) have a new checkbox `Display only ITS phones`. If the checkbox is marked in a page then this page offers only ITS821 xSIP hard phones to web clients. If ITS821 users defined in Users page are not available for any reason (like busy, unregistered i.e) they are also not offered to web clients. Be aware that ITS821 phones, which are defined in Users page (with the checkbox marked), must have the firmware version 1.17 or newer. Otherwise, they are not identified by the Telesis system and not offered. Version 100207: - In `Common Properties` of an SS7 signaling E1, a new checkbox `Do not send TRA (Traffic allowed)` is available. Whenewer the link state is aligned ready, Telesis system sends TRA traffic allowed L2 message to peer. If remote side is not capable to interpret this message, mark this new checkbox. Version 100203: - SIP visitors (like WebPhone clients) may now call registered SIP users at the Telesis system. Version 100201: - A major implementation. Telesis WebPhone, which is a SIP Java client applet (i.e., softphone) is embedded into the Xymphony. To enable WebPhone application: 1. w.pxf.lscwp02 and/or w.pxf.lscwp05 licensed should be installed. 2. Xymphony programming pages (xp.asp) should be protected by password. 3. G711U law codec should be enabled for SIP visitor profile as WebPhone calls received by Xymphony through SIP visitor profile. Recommended readings are available at the technical documentation section: http://www.telesis-pbx.com/destek.php?ID=454 http://www.telesis-pbx.com/destek.php?ID=455 http://www.telesis-pbx.com/destek.php?ID=456 - XTools version 1.03 or later should be used for Telesis systems having Xymphony version 100201 or later. Version 100116: - The function `Tone detection clears calls` for DC loop trunks has been improved. Version 100115: - Major and critical modifications. - XPort Utility is no longer supported. - Instead of XPort, the next generation XTools Utility is supported. - IMPORTANT: CMDR database structure has been changed. - A Telesis revision 5 system (with Xymphony revision 091231 or an older one) may be upgraded to this new version (in order XTools Utility to operate with.) However, since CMDR database structure has been changed, before upgrade of Xymphony, all CMDR data buffered in the Telesis system must be downloaded with using XPort Utility. BE AWARE THAT UPGRADING XYMPHONY WITHOUT FIRST DOWNLOADING CMDR DATA WILL CAUSE ALL DATA TO BE LOST IN CMDR BUFFERS OF THE TELESIS SYSTEM. - A new feature `Hold Melody` in `Common properties` page of users. System default voice message for hold is 8. Whenever a user is in hold state, Xymphony plays that message for all users. If it is desired to play another system message to all users when a specific user is in hold then `Hold Melody` box of this specific user can be set accordingly. `Hold Melody` number can be a value between 00 and 99 referring to a system message number. Version 091215: - Statistics data measurement and reporting functions are modified for ease of use. Instead of generating G records for the statistics measurements, statistics data and records are now displayed in the integrated web server pages. More easy to use and more understandable. Details are explained in the technical documents at the link http://www.telesis-pbx.com/destek.php?ID=369 ++++ End of XymphonyUMS and XymphonyX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ++++ ITS821 Firmware Version 1.17: - An ITS821 phone is identified as a hard phone by Telesis system, where it is registered. ++++ End of ITS821 Firmware --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
